His relaxed and friendly way puts the most wary at their ease.
Laurie trained at The Natural History Museum and the National Archives in London, but soon found he preferred photographing living subjects.
He studied at the Croydon College of Art and Goldsmiths College London.
He lives with his wife Lesley in Deal, Kent.
His passion is photographing pets and people.
